Bodybuilding is the use of progressive resistance exercise to control and develop one’s musculature. Bodybuilding is not a short term goal that can be achieved in one week or fortnight; it is a long process needs patience, hard work, dedication, good diet, good rest and great exercise routine.

Bodybuilders need three main strategies to maximize muscle hypertrophy:

  1. Strength training through weights or elastic/hydraulic resistance
  2. Specialized nutrition, incorporating extra protein and supplements when necessary
  3. Adequate rest, including sleep and recuperation between workouts

Everyone makes the decision to work out for a different reason, but the good news is there is a bodybuilding program for every one of them.
